Nadal mam silne uczucia i miłość do Szkocji, a zwłaszcza do ludzi z Glasgow, z ich ciepłem i humorem. Uczęszczałem do Glasgow School of Art jako student zewnętrzny, studiując rysunek i malarstwo. W 1968 roku opuściłem dom, aby uczęszczać na kurs podstawowy sztuki i projektowania w Carlisle College of Art na północy Anglii. Potem miałem szczęście zdobyć miejsce w Hornsey College of Art w Londynie, prestiżowej i renomowanej szkole artystycznej, gdzie ukończyłem studia z wyróżnieniem w dziedzinie sztuki i projektowania graficznego. Spędziłem ponad czterdzieści lat jako konsultant ds. projektowania, pracując w sztuce komercyjnej z dobrze znanymi firmami i markami, np. Shell, BMW, Alcan, Glaxo, a także z wieloma mniejszymi przedsiębiorstwami. W 2017 roku postanowiłem poświęcić więcej czasu na własne projekty artystyczne, co dało mi wolność do swobodniejszego wyrażania mojej kreatywności. Jednym z projektów, nad którymi pracowałem przez ostatni rok podczas lockdownu, jest seria dwudziestu siedmiu kreatywnych dzieł opartych na tekstach ikonicznych piosenek The Beatles. Obecnie pracuję nad drugą fazą tego ekscytującego projektu, który wkrótce zostanie opublikowany! Jestem żonaty i mam dwie dorosłe córki, jedna mieszka blisko mnie w Thames Ditton w Surrey, a druga córka mieszka w Szwecji. I was born in London and grew up in Surrey, England. At the age of twelve my family moved to Scotland to a small village just outside of Glasgow. I still have strong feelings and love for Scotland and especially for the Glaswegian people with their warmth and humour. I attended Glasgow School of Art as an external student studying drawing and Painting.

In 1968 I left home to attend a Foundation Art & Design Course at Carlisle College of Art in the north of England. I was then fortunate to gain a place at Hornsey College of Art in London, a prestigious and renowned Art School where I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Art and Graphic Design.

I spent over forty years as a Design Consultant working in commercial art with well known companies and brands eg Shell, BMW, Alcan, Glaxo, also smaller entrepreneurial businesses.

In 2017 I decided to concentrate more time on my own art projects giving me the freedom to express my creativity more freely. One of the projects I have worked on for the past year during lockdown is a series of twenty seven creative artworks based on the lyrics of The Beatles iconic songs. A spin off was the ABBA series with my family connection to Sweden.

Recently I have published a new series of artwork inspired by the beautifully seaside town of Båstad in Sweden.

I am married with two grown up daughters, one living near me in Thames Ditton, Surrey and the other daughter living in Sweden.
